      • Push the wire through the hole\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Bend the wire with the help of the pliers: a ring at the top and a hook at the bottom<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Attach it to the lid with glue\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Cut off two strips of several centimeters long and about one centimeter wide from the aluminum foil\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Punch holes in the ends of the aluminum strips\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Hang the foil strips on the hooks. Make sure they touch each other slightly<\/span><\/li>\n

        • Rub the PVC pipe (rubbing rod) vigorously with the sheep’s wool<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Brush along the wire ring at the top of the electroscope with the rubbing rod<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \u00a0<\/span>Observation:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n
            \n
          • The two aluminum strips spread from each other laterally (deflection)<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
          • If the rubbing rod is removed, the rash remains <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Only when you touch the wire ring with your fingers does the rash go down\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • The PVC rod is positively charged by rubbing with the sheep’s wool, the sheep’s wool negatively<\/span><\/li>\n
